We have applied for the registration of alumni association of IMR. The theme of alumni association is ‘Sweet Memories’. Therefore, the name of our alumni association is ‘SMRITI’.

 

Alumni meet is an annual event of IMR. After consulting with our alumni, we decide a suitable date for the meet. We have updated database of our alumni and accordingly we communicate them about the date of meet. Usually, we communicate through emails, telephones, cell phones, and by post also. Along with postal invitation, we send a reply sheet to our alumni. This way we get their confirmations for the meet.

 

This activity helps in keeping contacts live with each alumni and it also helps in the placements of their juniors. The juniors get an opportunity to interact with alumni. Thus they get information about current scenario of industry.

 

This year we celebrated Alumni Meet, i.e., SMRITI-2007 on 20^th January 2007. Like every year we got overwhelming response from the alumni and the event was really a grand success.
