The Institute of Management & Research affiliated to University of Pune  offers a MBA course which is approved by AICTE New Delhi.

Course

The institute of management & Research was running MPM ,PGDBM coures with permission of University of Pune  and  Govt. Of Maharashtra upto 2005-2006 but from academic year 2006-2007 the institute has discontinued these two courses.

Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.)

This is a two-year full time course comprising of four semesters. The institute  is affiliated to the University of Pune and MBA  program is approved by AICTE New Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria
A graduate from any statutory University will be eligible to apply.

1. A Bachelor’s degree in any faculty of any statutory University with minimum 45 % marks or more marks (40% or more marks for students belonging to SC, ST/DT, NT, OBC, SBC for Maharashtra state only.) Or
   A Master’s degree in any faculty of any statutory University with 45% Or more marks (40% or more marks for students belonging to SC,ST/DT,NT,OBC,SBC for Maharashtra State only).
2. Must have completed selection procedure as prescribed by the competent authority from time to time.
   The State Government will conduct common Entrance Test (CET). Candidate must have cleared CET & be selected through group discussion and personal interviews.

Assessment
The Course structure consists of papers of 100 marks each. Out of the 100 marks, 70 marks are reserved for University evaluation and the individual Institute reserves 30 marks for internal evaluation.
In order to pass the examination a candidate has to obtain minimum 40% marks in university evaluation as well as internal evaluation.
