Dr. S.D.Tupe. a well known personality has pursued M.A. in Economics and Ph.D. from the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune and have 40 yrs of experience in the field of Education and Research. He was awarded V.G. Kale Research fellowship & Reserve Bank of India’s Research fellowship During Secondary Education he has also secured Scholarship from Maharastra Government. He has been working a member of Research & Recognision Committees of Various Universities. He is a former President and Trustee of Marathi Arthashastra Parishad and remains Research guide for University of Pune, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedker Marathwada University, Aurangabad and Tilak Maharastra Vidyapeeth, Pune. Twenty Eight (28) research students have completed Ph.D and 15 students have completed M.Phil under his able guidance till date. Two books in English, Eleven books in Marathi (Total 13) and Thirty research papers are at his credit. Completion of three research projects, delivery of 200 lectures in India and abroad in the field of education, different fellowships and scholarship awards including “Jewel of India Award” are his success stories. He is a man of values and has proved his excellence in the field of Education and Research. Membership of several professional bodies proves his association with society. His zeal, enthusiasm and vast experience is a guiding force for the development of the Institute
