The placement cell of IMR is the most happening cell. Under the guidance of an young and energetic placement officer, our placement cell is achieving new heights every year. Placement is an outcome of MBA degree, where every student gets a job as per his/her caliber. IMR's philosophy in the placements is little bit different than other institutes. Before offering the placements, we believe that training is needed to the students. Therefore, we impart necessary training to sharpen the skills of our students. This training activity goes all over the year. At the end of the year, we offer final placements to our seniors and summer placements to our juniors.

As a part of training, we invite professionals from the respective fields. For example, the experts in English language are invited to upgrade the communication skills of the students. These experts improve the skills through practical training. The professionals from industry are invited to impart the business etiquettes, interview techniques, group discussion skills, etc. Thus, we make the students ready to face rigorous selection procedures of the industries.

We also believe that the placement activity is a team work of all the students and the placement cell. Our alumni and faculty members help extensively in this noble cause. To make placements easier, we continuously keep a deep interaction with industry by the way of inviting industry people for guest lectures, organizing regular industrial visits, visiting organizations during summer training of junior students, etc. Thus, though placement is an herculean task, we make it pleasurable at IMR. .
